B&B LA DOUBLE PORTE welcomes you in a totally renovated typically Gascony house dating from the NAPOLEON III period. (French emporer from 1852 to 1870) at only 2 km of the village centre of CASTERA-VERDUZAN with all facilities such as shops, restaurants, local market on Sunday, a lake with waterslide and pick-nick grounds.
Accomodation
The arrangement of LA DOUBLE PORTE reflects a casual and cosy atmosphere.
Two guestrooms each one decorated in a different style have their own bathroom and private toilet, comfortable beds and can receive respectively 2,3 and 4 persons.
Also a spacious terrace and garden, a swimming-pool and outdoor-kitchen are at your disposal.

The rooms 'CLASSIQUE' and 'BAROQUE' on the first floor communicate to a second room, 'NOSTALGIQUE' and 'ROMANTIQUE' with direct acces to the same bathroom.
Rooms and bathrooms are serviced on a daily basis.
There are separate towels for the swimming pool.

Before the GERS became a ‘département’ it was part of the GASCONY province.
Today it is part of the region MIDI-PYRENEES/ OCCITANIE.
It’s one of the most rural country-sides and less dense populated zones of Western-Europe.
The undulating landscape of hills and valleys with a rich variety of agriculture in different tones and colors according to the kind of crops alternating with wineries give a sense of unbounded freedom and rest.
The GERS also has a very rich cultural and touristic heritage.
While discovering the region you automatically drive, ride or walk through magnificent villages.
There is also a large choice of museums to choose from.
